Welcome to the Governors' Page!

The Governing Body is experienced, knowledgeable and supportive of the school. Governors carry out their duties with consideration. They visit the classrooms to increase their understanding of how children learn and each one is linked to a curriculum area.

The Governing Body includes representatives of parents, staff, the Local Education Authority, and the District Council.

It is the Governing Body's responsibility to review the aims of the school and ensure that they are upheld. We work closely with the Head Teacher and staff of the school to develop the strategies necessary to achieve our aims and monitor progress. We form and review clear policies which set out how the school should be run.

We meet termly and have established committees for Curriculum, Finance, Staffing and General Purposes.
