Belmont Community Primary School was built in 1975 catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years of age.
The school buildings are pleasant, spacious and well equipped. Many improvements have taken place over the past few years as the school has grown in size. During the spring term 2001 a new ICT suite was added to the school as part of the national scheme to link all schools to the internet. Recently all classroom computers have been linked to the internet as well.
